Masa harina is a unique kind of flour made from maize that has been cooked in lime water through a process called Nixtamalization invented by the Aztecs thousands of years ago. The maize is finely ground and then dried and sieved to form a flour. Our Masa Harina/Maseca is gluten and GMO free.
